CMA reviews the accuracy of payments for both ambulatory encounters and inpatient cases.  UB 92 bills and payments are compared to identify and correct any underpayments, rejections, or denials from contracted payers.  CMA reports list all billing and fee schedule discrepancies and include recommendations, as appropriate, for negotiating future improved reimbursement.
