CMA conducts reviews
of a client's filed and/or audited Medicare Cost Reports to ensure that
all appropriate measures have been taken to obtain proper reimbursement.
CMA has identified patterns of reimbursement shortfalls in many
departments and has had great success in obtaining correct
reimbursement in such areas as disproportionate share calculations,
revenue code assignments for proper C and D allocations and matching of
revenue codes with cost center allocations.
Following CMA’s summary report to the client and with the client’s
approval, CMA can perform all necessary work to obtain any additional
reimbursement through the appropriate fiscal intermediary.
