Founded in 1987, CMA
began
offering hospitals a program of medical record review to improve the
quality and accuracy of inpatient coding and reimbursement, resulting
in the improvement of the hospital’s case mix index.
Since then, CMA has expanded
its services to assist hospitals and clinics with improving their
revenue cycle and meeting the demands of compliance standards. These
expanded services include inpatient coding reviews, outpatient coding
reviews, Medicare cost report analysis, contract billing and payment
validation, and training/education programs.
